Official Sponsors of the O’Dea Brothers Beach Volleyball

An unlikely Partnership? Possibly not. Like IPS, Sam and Ben O’Dea have a Goal, a Strategy and great work ethic. So when they approached IPS with their 4 year plan, ending at the Olympics, their proposal sounded familiar.

IPS is proud to announce that we are now one of the official sponsors of the O’Dea Brothers Beach Volleyball Campaign 2017 to 2020.

Born and raised in Tauranga, Sam, 28 and Ben, 26 started playing together back in 2009 right through to 2012.

In those years they achieved multiple titles including the youngest team in history to be crowned Asian Tour Champions. It took a few years apart playing with different Beach Volleyball partners to realised they had something special that only siblings could generate. Now reunited, they won the Bronze medal for NZ in the Commonwealth Games – Gold Coast 2018 and are working towards a spot at the Olympics in Tokyo 2020.

In their spare time, the O’Dea brothers give back to the community and environment by organising “Beach Cleanup” days and running clinics, coaching young school students.
Here at Industrial Plastic Shapes we are proud and excited to give Sam and Ben a helping hand to help them achieve their dream of competing at the Olympics.
